    Description

These are hard to find four porcelain ant traps that go on ( castors are placed through the holes of each trap)  the legs of  each piece of furniture (  especially Hoosier cabinets) to prevent ants from climbing up the furniture leg to reach the stored food. Either poison or a sticky substance was put in the tray section of each to  prevent the ants from climbing any further. These date from c. 1920s-40s.  They are approx. 3 3/8" in diameter and about 3/8 " in H. They are in very good original  found condition with no known breaks or cracks . There are insignificant tiny chips on the rims of each.
