    CENTURY 21 - SEATTLE WORLD'S FAIR - 1962 Collector Plate featuring the SPACE NEEDLE
    We are pleased to offer for your consideration, this vintage 1962 Seattle World's Fair Collector Plate. There are variations of this plate with different color borders. This one has a lovely tan / ecru border color, edge trimmed in silver inside and outside the border.  The plate is handsomely illustrated with a black line drawing, showing off a good portion of the World’s Fair that features the Space Needle in colors of turquoise blues and greens. Printed above the fair's landscape is "
    CENTURY 21 / SEATTLE WORLD'S FAIR / 1962
    ". There are no sponsor marks or maker marks on the plate, but the plate does resemble the quality of Lenox China from the period and sounds off a bell tone resonance when lightly tapped at the rim with your finger or a pencil.
