Very nice US Civil War Belt Buckle. This is a dug example that was found here in the Shenandoah Valley by an early relic hunter. Nice Chocolate Brown Patina to the brass. The face is in great shape with just a couple dings probably from a plow. The back still retains its lead and one of the Puppy Paw Belt Hooks remain as well. The other hook has lost its flat base but still shows a nice example.The Keeper also remains firmly in place. This one is nice!!!
