    Description

    Set 8  Herend  ozier moulded plates decorated in the Rothschild bird pattern each measuring approximately 8 7/8 inches. Blue and impressed marks as shown. Some in poor condition as described and photographed.....but present well when displayed. Excellent provenance.......see
    already listed Tournai plates attributed to Fidelle Duvivier from same estate.
    Purchased prior to 1959 by Eugene Meyer ( First President of the World Bank and former owner of the Washington Post... and all round interesting  person who, with his wife Agnes, decorated their Mt. Kisco, New York mansion "Seven Springs" with the finest porcelains in the world ). Thence by descent.
    Four in overall good condition one with tiny frit chip to rim....... the remaining  four in fair to poor condition .....two with star cracks to center and two with rim chips .......see photos showing imperfections.....  additional images available upon request
