Unique and stunning coin ring ,made entirely of original old israeli half Shekel coins,  light-gold patina color and hand-crafted.
Every coin Tells a story ...
This ring was created out of an old Israeli coin. One side features the face of Baron Edmond James de Rothschild,a great french jewish philanthropist born in 1845, and the names of the first hebrew villages he supported before the establishment of the State of Israel. The other side features the value of the coin, half a Shekel.
This is a limited addition of the common Half shekel coin addition, released in honor of Baron Rothchild significant contribution in building the foundations to the future state of israel  , added to the coin's circulation in a finite amount.

All you need to do is send a private message stating your SIZE preferences:
We offer sizes 6  through 11 . Half and quarter sizes are accepted as well. Incase you do not know your size ( nor sure of it )we strongly recommend having a jeweler size your finger before you place an order..
Once we recieve your desired size, Meran will handcraft your ring.The coin ring will be sent well wrapped, packed in a decorative box.

About Meran Shavit and his manufacturing process
My name is Meran Shavit and my passion for coins stems from my love of history and meaning. I love to work with Israeli coins as each one has a biblical symbol and significance. They are also aesthetically beautiful and unique in their design. Transforming coins into pieces of jewelry excites me for two reasons: each piece takes on a whole new meaning, and seeing someone actually wearing it gives me as much pleasure as it does the owner.
I have always been interested in special and unique jewelry and a few years ago I began experimenting with making jewelry out of old coins. The road to transforming coins into jewelry was long, but I enjoyed every minute and learned all the steps involved in the process. It starts with identifying coins that are solid enough to withstand extreme pressure and high temperatures. Of these, I select only coins that commemorate special historic events (such as battles from the War of Independence), national symbols, and portraits of national heroes and admired presidents. In my studio I turn the coins into single or double band rings for men and women, medallions necklaces and bracelets, and other items  that I custom-design for my clients  .
