    Description

    Early brass rectangular belt plate worn by Maryland volunteers during the Civil War and by many of the state’s volunteer militia units.
    Many of these Maryland sword belt plates went south with their volunteers.
    In great condition, this handsome cast brass, slightly convex-shaped (See picture),
    Measures approximately 3.5 mm thick, 48.7 mm tall and x 84 mm wide.
