Pewter Duck Figurine, gemstone base, made in USA collectible goose bird figurine

Description

This pewter goose or duck taking flight figurine is new old stock from my flea-market store in Tampa and has been stored since December 2000.  The pewter was cast, detailed and assembled in Florida.  It is mounted to a genuine agate gemstone base imported from Brazil and has been cleaned to a bright finish just like when it was first made.  There are areas on it cut with a rotary tool to reflect light.
The larger figurines like this size on the gemstone bases are no longer in production.  The bird is 2 1/2" long measured from the tip of the tail to the right wing tip, the base is just under 3 1/2" long.  This base is one of the nicer ones with the white crystals through the center.
