Original Civil War Confederate Brass CS Egg Buckle on it original black leather belt. The Confederate Brass has a beautiful aged patina with stand out CS letters. The reverse has the original hooks intact. Textbook example of how these buckles should look attached to the leather. Easy to see how so many of these could have been separated on the dug examples. Also has an imprint of the CS Oval in the leather behind the plate. The leather belt has seen lots of service but still displays strong. Has a few repairs as shown in the pics.
