Mexican Ironwood Carved Dolphin Figure

Offered for your consideration is this attractive
figure of a Dolphin which I believe to be made of ironwood. While on a trip to CA I took a day excursion to Baja California and while there purchased this from a street vendor as a souvenir. Recent home downsizing left me with less display space for my "stuff" so I'm trying to find new homes for some of my excess. Ironwood is a very dense fine grained wood that is so heavy it sinks in water. The trees grow very slowly and so many were being cut down to be used for various things  that the Mexican government put them on an endangered species list to protect them from extinction.
The figurines approximate dimension are 13" tall and 6" wide at the base. Weight of the piece is 3 pounds.

I will only ship to e-bay/paypal verified addresses in the United States and I usually use USPS priority mail or UPS ground for shipping due to problems with lower rate packages being damaged in transit. I know that may cost slightly more but it avoids loss and the hassle of filing claims and returned shipping costs, etc.
I suggest you wait for me to send you an invoice before paying for your item so I can accurately determine the shipping cost once the item is packed and have the delivery zip code. Insurance and/or delivery confirmation is included in the shipping cost.
Items shipped to Florida addresses require payment of 6% state sales tax.
Normally I do not accept returned items but if an item is damaged or the buyer doesn't like the item for some reason and the buyer requires a refund then I may want the item be returned to me at the buyers expense or offer to settle for the cost of the item minus the shipping. This is because the insurance E-bay offers at checkout only cover the item cost and not the shipping. I pack well and have not had but a few problems where the PO decided to run over the box(or do who knows what else to it!).
