Up for sale is an authentic Gold Sales Award to commemorate over 500,000 copies sold of the George Harrison 1976 album "The Best Of George Harrison". This album featured both his Beatles and Solo work. This is an authentic Recording Industry Association of America sales award, and features the RIAA logo.
This is the exact same award that sold in a 2010 Heritage auction for 0 (see the last picture), and in a 2011 auction for over ,200!
This original award is a fantastic piece and measures approx 17" x 21". It is in very good condition, with some light scratches to the frame and a little paint loss. It would make a great gift! If you miss out on buying this, good luck finding another!
