The history of the Dulevo Porcelain Factory began in 1832, when in the village of Dulevo near Moscow, the Gzhel merchant T. Ya. Kuznetsov founded a production for the manufacture of porcelain, which eventually became the largest in Russia. From 1889 until the revolution of 1917, the factory belonged to the namesake of its founder, the" porcelain king "M. S. Kuznetsov and his" porcelain empire " - the Partnership of M. S. Kuznetsov.
After the October Revolution, the Dulevsky enterprise is expected to be nationalized and renamed the Dulevsky Porcelain Factory named after the newspaper Pravda.
In the pre-war years, the company was reorganized, and in 1936, an art laboratory was created.
In the post-war years, the plant was able to quickly recover and increase the volume of production to the pre-war level. Both ordinary dining and tea utensils of everyday demand, and highly artistic porcelain were produced.
The year of triumph for the Dulevsky Plant was 1958, when the company was awarded a gold medal at the next World Exhibition in Brussels, and the sculpture of A. G. Sotnikov "Falcon" took the Grand Prix of the exhibition.
