Antique French Sterling Silver Sauce Boat
by Veuve Flamant & Leon Champenois, circa 1890-1894. This fabulous Sauce Boat,
Saucière
in French, is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity. It consists of oval-shaped sauce boat with unique handle and high spout, standing on an oval pedestal feet, attached to a removable serving platter. Overall crisp and clean design with Rococo scroll and Rocaille scallop sea shell motif decoration. Timeless classic elegance with no boundaries of style; perfect for both modern and classic table decoration.
