    Borodoches - such an uncomplicated name is this object, it dates from about the 16th-18th centuries. It is something similar to a modern flat comb, only it is not made of plastic or wood, but of metal, mainly copper or bronze. Just a significant difference is that it is decorated with some kind of ornament and often happens with a pattern.
    Most beards have a hole or loop at the top, through which a thin string was threaded, for more comfortable wearing it around the neck. It turns out that in addition to its direct duties, it was also used as an ornament to some extent.
