    Description

I would guess that the majority of Century 21 collectors have HALF of this pass. The top portion was torn off at the fold (not a perforation!) when presented for admission. The fairgoer would keep the lower part as a "membership" card  in a club that really existed in name only as a souvenir "ticket stub" more than anything else. They can be found very frequently and ususually with a pretty rough edge where despite best efforts it couldn't be torn very evenly.
This membership card/ticket/pass is in mint condition, flat never folded (and that's how well send it to you in a rigid holder); I can't think of when I last saw a full unsed version such as this one.
The second item in this lot is the folder containing an example of the official world's fair space age medal. The mint Gem BU medal is just as it was issued almost 60 years ago, in the original cello stapled into the folder just as you see here. The medals are readily available and their prices are all across the board. You usually can find one on Ebay if you shop around for as little as , but scan Ebay for a week or two and you're sure to find the medal for anywhere from that figure to , but most often for or a bit less.
For every 50 space age medals you find over perhaps a year or two of paying attention you might not see ANY in the original folder or perhaps one or two; clearly, the folder as issued is much scarcer than just the single coin. The folder and coin usually sell for around double the cost of the medal alone; that means look diligently and you can find one for or even less on a good day.
It's far more difficult to give you a range of prices on the ticket/card since you just can't find one easily if at all. The retained half or stub should be out there for to --we would expect a mint unissued/unused version as here to bring at least to .
With al that in mind, I feel quite confident our price for the two pieces is only a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere if you could locate them both.
Our price for the pair is just .50. And we have only one pair available.
