This 1916 Baby’s Health and Record Book is in GOOD condition for its age. UNUSED. The covers are a card stock type material. This baby book was handed out by various merchants in Clinton, Iowa - these merchants are listed on the cover page. The first portion of the book has sections on feeding, care, sleep etc. The latter portion of the book has an area to record date of birth names of parents, first trip, first picture etc. The baby book shows some wear from age and storage - see photos. The front and back covers are intact. The tips of the corners and edges of each cover have some wear marks. The top left corner of the front cover has a small tear. Each cover has some small areas of light discoloration. No other rips or tears in either cover that we could find. The binding is staples. All of the pages are intact and still attached to the staple binding. No rips or tears in the pages that we could find. The pages have “yellowed” from age. Nice!
