    Description

    Nylon 6/6 nut blank. 15/32" (0.440") tall, 2 10/32" (2.315") long and 1/4" (0.257") thick.
    Package of 2, ships for free.
    Color is off white
    Tensile Strength: 11,200-12,300 psi
    Impact Strength: 0.6-1.4 ft.-lbs./in.
    Hardness: Rockwell R108-R121
    These are new, however please note that they were cut from a sheet therefore they will have cut marks on all edges and some fuzz from the cutting process.
    **Please note: When you make your nut, I do not recommend using a belt sander as the heat tends to melt and smear the nylon.
    They make good slick nuts and polish up pretty well. Folks have been telling me that this very much like what the big G brand used back in the 50's. I have no personal knowledge of this claim, but that's what folks have been telling me when they ask me to install one on their guitars.
